Stunning Oris Aquis Black Dial Full Set Excellent Condition Boxed Books Card Etc
For sale is this beautiful ORIS Gents Aquis 300m Automatic Wristwatch in stainless steel with a stunning black dial and black ceramic bezel. It comes complete with all original boxes, books, guarantee card and spare links. The guarantee card shows all correct model and serial numbers along with the supplying jewellers stamp. The case itself has a brushed finish with polished strap lugs and a screw in crown. The sapphire crystal is unblemished and has an internal anti reflective coating. The bezel is stainless steel with a scratch proof ceramic insert with white markings and a luminous pip at 12 o'clock. The dial itself has a matte black finish that goes perfectly with the black ceramic bezel insert.
It's a large dial that is very simple, uncluttered and easy to read. It has extremely bright luminova details that glow with a blue hue all night. There are polished, lumiova filled hour markers and arrow style hands.
The date is displayed at 6 o'clock. The bracelet is also finished in a combination of brushed and polished steel accents which looks so much better than the less expensive rubber straps fitted to some. It is a chunky yet comfortable strap with the polished outer links running into the polished case lugs. All original links are present.
The bracelet is complemented by the brushed steel bi fold clasp with solid divers extension which features an embossed ORIS logo and a push button release mechanism to prevent accidental opening of the clasp. The watch is presented in it's original soft case and outer box that are in excellent condition. Also in the box is an ORIS branded hard back instruction manual holding all cards and paperwork.
I would say overall the watch is in excellent condition but it has been used regularly so does show signs of use, mainly on the bracelet and clasp as you would expect.
